So, you are not yet convinced that tobacco smoking is bad for you and everyone else. This infographic will change your mind. I guarantee it because smoking is a costly habit. Above and beyond being unhealthy, cigarettes can cost a pack-a-day smoker over $2500 a year. Imagine what you could do with that money. You could go on a vacation, pay down debt, put in savings and make a down payment on a cool car.
Even though it appears the Tobacco industry has been hit with some hard knocks, it is quietly raking in some serious profits -- coming from overseas markets. However, if you are even slightly observant, you know that Big Tobacco is still advertising here at home. After 40 years of decline, the smoking rate in the US has flat-lined for the last five year - now that is good news.
This infographic offers some shocking statistics which might knock you down. The designer of the infographic, Frugal Dad, helps expose just how large the Tobacco industry is and how much it affects you and your family.
The only thing I disagree about the infographic is the one solution of using medicine to quit smoking. There are natural ways to quit smoking; it is best to go that route.
