Healthy Oscar Party

Every party comes with drinks. I don’t know about you, but I want to stay healthy. I have a racquetball game the next day.
So I am going to stick with sparkling mineral water with a slice of lemon. The bubbles make the drink feel like I am at a gala without the alcohol. If you are not sure if the host or hostess will have sparkling water, you can always bring your own. Sparkling water comes in different natural flavors like lime, orange, cherry and lemon.
If you don’t have the sparkle, no worries, lemon and water make a great Oscar party drink, too. It replenishes water lost from drinking alcohol and caffeine. It contains absolutely no calories or fat.
Sipping Wine
An Oscar party does mean to let loose and drink up. So if alcohol is a must and you want to be healthy, you can have a glass or two of red wine.
Just skip the hard stuff and sip a glass of red wine. Red wine is rich in anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants protect your heart and help the body maintain healthy cells.
Staying healthy during the Oscar Party will make your Monday more pleasurable and your body will thank you.
