Body Restoration Therapy and Weight Loss

April 10th 2010 06:38

What is Body Restoration Therapy?

According to Dr. Eric Berg, a certified doctor of chiropractic and founder of the Health and Wellness Center in Alexandria, Virginia, “Body Restoration Technique (BRT) is a non-invasive method of locating and removing energy blockages on the body systems”. The BRT practitioner gently stimulates or “triggers” acupuncture points at various places on the patient’s body which then “loosen” blocked energies and improve a laundry list of health concerns including weight loss. The number one question that begs to be answered is…

Is BRT effective?

According to the patient testimonials from patients who received treatments the answer is, “Yes.” Using phrases such as, “energy level back to normal”, “decreased the dosage of thyroid medicine”, and “appetite decreased… lost 4 pounds”, the comments like these continue to make case for this “alternative medical” technique. Guided by a strong belief in letting intelligent folks make their own judgments about their health, perhaps, we should look very closely at what we know about BRT.

Is Body Restoration Therapy a new method?

No, it is not. Dr. Berg says, “Restoration Technique (BRT) uses the ancient knowledge of the acupuncture meridians (energy pathways) and muscle response testing to neutralize the adverse effects of toxins in the body. It also helps to balance hormones and restore gland function. BRT is a very old method of repairing the harmful damage done to our hormones”.

Is BRT safe?

Although Body Restoration Therapy does not require surgery or strong medications, the only individuals qualified to judge its safety are those trained in medicine and diagnostic procedures such as Dr. James Keppler. It is best to discuss this procedure with Keppler.

Finally

Get the facts before you make lasting decisions concerning your health. Finally, it’s best to keep an open mind when you seek any kind of health treatment and make your own decision using the information you’ve worked hard to find.
